We offer this unique opportunity for fiber artists to join us in supporting our regional fiber
producers by creating original designs for our Garment and Home Accessories Show. In
honor of the mission of the Mountain and Valley Wool Association who produces the MAVWA
Wool Festival, we request that items entered contain a majority of animal fiber that has been
raised in Colorado/New Mexico/Texas. All entries should promote, emphasize, and be "about"
animal fiber.
Finished fiber goods may contain silk, plant fibers, synthetic fibers, and other materials in a
supporting role. Examples are silk warp and synthetic stuffing covered by wool fabrics.
NOTE: Non-US supporting Fiber is accepted but not encouraged. Entries may not be from a kit.
All entries must have been completed between Nov 1st 2023 & Sep 30th, 2024. Artists are limited to
one item per class. Artists may enter multiple items, but they must be in different classes.
