Join the competition and hear what the judge has to say about your fleece(s).
Entrants in the fleece show may again sell their fleeces during the wool festival in the fleece judging area.

Happening Saturday October 5th

  • 8:00am - 8:45am - Registration, at the Info Booth
  • 8:00am - 9:30am - Drop off entries
  • 10:00am - 12:00pm - Fleece Judging followed by awards presentation *Open to the Public
  • 2:00pm - 4:00pm - Fleece Sale

Our 2023 Fleece Judge was Zefren Anderson (click to read his impressive bio).

He was assisted by this year's scribe Nikyle Begay, the N-CSA Registry Inspector for the Navajo Breed Association as well as a shepherd with a great knowledge of sheep genetics. Janna Miller joined her as co-scribe for the wool portion of the competition.
